Available Hours

Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Emergency and Urgent Care is available on a walk-in or scheduled basis. We provide timely medical attention for pets that require prompt care.

Urgent Care and Emergency Care

If your pet needs care that can’t wait until your next vet appointment our team is here to help.

  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Minor wounds or cuts
  • Limping, swelling, or signs of pain
  • Ear infections
  • Eye redness or discharge
  • Skin issues: rashes, hives, itching
  • Loss of appetite or mild dehydration
  • Mild respiratory symptoms: sneezing or coughing
  • Fleas, ticks, or worms
  • Urinary issues (e.g., blood in urine)
  • Pale gums or lethargy
  • Not eating or drinking for more than 48 hours
  • Severe trauma (e.g., hit by a car)
  • Difficulty breathing or choking
  • Bloat or distended abdomen
  • Repeated seizures or unconsciousness
  • Excessive bleeding
  • Paralysis or inability to stand
  • Difficult labor or birth complications
  • Fall from a significant height
  • Rapid or weak pulse

If You Think Your Pet Has Eaten Something Poisonous

Call us immediately at 614-600-5620! If after hours, contact the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s 24-hour hotline at 888-426-4435. Trained toxicologists will consider the age and health of your pet, what was ingested, and then make a recommendation about what action should be taken.


Safety Tips for Transporting Injured Pets

  • Injured pets may bite or claw out of fear or pain. Approach calmly and speak gently.
  • Dogs: Use a stretcher or firm board for transport. Support the neck and spine.
  • Cats: Use a towel or blanket to gently cover their head, then place them in a secure box or carrier.
  • Apply pressure to any bleeding wounds and keep your pet warm.
